The other day I found this site on a Google search and just love their retro products ... I have always wanted a retro kitchen table but David and I have been wary about spending a bunch of money on a table from the 50's that could be falling apart ... and we just haven't ever had the money ... my brother gave us his old dining room table that I really don't like ... but it is a free table and I couldn't really say no ... and I would get flack if I did take some of our money and buy a new one ...
I was telling kris about the site and how they had a great product but the site was hard to navigate and their graphics were terrible ... she told me I should write to them and see if they were interested in a trade ... a table and chairs in exchange for a whole new website ... I figured what would I have to loose ... the worst they could say would be no ... so I sent them an e-mail on Tuesday and Wednesday they wrote me back and said they had a web designer that was redoing their site ...
but then this morning I got another e-mail from them that said they were interested in having me redo their site ... the web designer wrote and asked for some references of sites which I promptly sent and he wrote back and said they would like to do a trade ... they have two sites that need to be redone ... and they would trade me for a custom table and 6 chairs ... they are about an hour from us so David and I are driving up to their showroom on Wednesday to go over what they would like for their site and so we can pick out the table, chairs and materials we want ...
woohoo ... a great thing happened today ... I have been on a high all day ... we get the table we want ... without spending a cent ... and we get a new customer/reference for our web work ... I am soooooooooo excited ...
