Oh my goodness we had such a great time at The Daily Show tonight ... first of all we were the first ones there ... which was awesome cause not that many people in line got in tonight ... secondly during the warm up Spiro [David's friend] yelled out to Jon Stewart during the question period 'What did you have for lunch today' ... and Jon sat there thinking and he said ... 'oh we had deli today what did you have for lunch?' and Spiro said "sushi" ... and Jon said "how can you have sushi when there are so many great sandwiches out there?" ... Spiro was wearing a Dreamcast shirt and Jon said "do you work for Dreamcast?" and Spiro said ... "ahhhhh no" and Jon said "Well I know you didn't wear that shirt for the ladies ... cause that is just what a girl wants to see ... ohhhhh he plays video games" which sent everyone into uproarious laughter ... and Jon said "ohhh I love playing video games I play all the time ... have you played [i can't remember which game he asked spiro if he played]?" and Spiro told him no he hadn't played it ... Jon made a couple more jokes and then threw out those little stress ball toys that are a planet and it says 'The Daily Show' on it ... and David caught one and gave it to me ...

well I can't really stay awake this long without Starbucks being open ... so I guess it is worth trying to go back to sleep for a least a little while ... man I can not wait to move ... I won't have to worry about how much noise we make any more ... cause if my parents are asleep ... their room is two floors up and on the complete opposite side of the house ... that way when I am up at 3:52 AM I could actually be working on something ... instead of just sitting here ... awake ...

I work in the photo department at YM Magazine, and I'm writing to alumni from Corona Del Mar High to see if someone might be able to help me out with a project I'm working on.
We're looking for photos (color snapshots, etc.) of Mark McGrath (singer from the band Sugar Ray) from when he was in high school. I think he graduated in 1986. The photos are for a story we're doing about what he was like in high school. We've already got an interview done, but we want to run photos from his friends in high school.
I already have the photos which ran in the yearbook. What I need is more candid stuff from his friends and classmates - hanging out, playing music, being a teenager, etc... Do any of you have photos of him during high school (1982 - 1986), or know someone who does? Feel free to forward this e-mail. I'd appreciate it.
All photos would be returned within 4-6 weeks. YM would pay the FedEx shipping fee, and we'd be willing to offer a fee if we run the photo.

i just don't know what to do ... my parents and my brother aren't speaking to each other and it is making me crazy ... my mom cries all the time ... and my dad is mad ... and my brother is perfectly happy not talking anymore ...
i just can't believe coming from my family that my brother can be so uncaring of other people's feelings ... he has hurt my mom and dad in several ways since he got engaged and he doesn't give a shit ... my dad is mad so he is fine not talking but it is tearing up my mom ... and there is nothing i can do to help her which just makes me feel terrible ...

well i redesigned the site once again ... i like the one i have now ... the other one was ok but i just wasn't digging it and i think that is why i was not writing all that often ...
tonight i got a very special treat ... actually a couple of them ... first of all david cooked dinner tonight ... i love when he cooks ... it was so good and not fast food ... i hope when we move to my parents house he feels like cooking more often ... and secondly there are 3 episodes of I Love Lucy on Nick-at-nite tonight ... i am so sorry this isn't on nick anymore ... but now that we are moving to my parents house i will get to see lucy every day ... the cable at our new house has TV Land which is I Love Lucy's home now that it isn't on Nick anymore ... i have already planned to work out every morning while watching I Love Lucy ...

man i have watched that Ghetto Airlines thing so many times now ... it is so funny ... at least something funny is happening ...
i have been in a funk lately ... it is the whole moving thing ... i just hate doing it ... and we have so much crap it is crazy ... the dust is really getting to me ... my head is foggy ... i am always sneezing ... even with the Claritin i have been taking ... everything about this apartment is gross ... i just can't take it anymore ... thank goodness we only have 10 more days here ... i don't know that i could take much more ...

i got the dreamiest stuff at Bath & Body Works today ... i got my usual raspberry shower jel but then i also got vanilla sugar, tangerine spice and cucumber melon which smells awesome ... i can hardly wait to take a shower tomorrow ... i was looking for apple shower jel but they didn't have any so i got a small, purse size, thing of hand lotion in apple and i am totally hooked ... i am going to have to go back and get a large bottle of it because i have already used probably 1/5 of the tube today ... my hands are sooooooo soft and smell amazing ...
well i should be off to sleep ... we need to do some packing tomorrow since we didn't do any on sunday or today ...

David's youngest brother Drew spent the day here sunday ... it was totally fun ... he brought his playstation2 and the two of them played games most of the day ... they went to the ski shop and to target and we all had dinner ... this is the first time i really hung out with drew ... i met him once for about 2 minutes at a family party ... but today we actually got to talk and i just adore him ... he is so sweet ... and we seem to have a lot in common and totally got along ... i am so glad he came over ... david was sure he would cancel so i know it made him happy ... and on the 21st we are going to the daily show with him ...

David's youngest brother Drew spent the day here sunday ... it was totally fun ... he brought his playstation2 and the two of them played games most of the day ... they went to the ski shop and to target and we all had dinner ... this is the first time i really hung out with drew ... i met him once for about 2 minutes at a family party ... but today we actually got to talk and i just adore him ... he is so sweet ... and we seem to have a lot in common and totally got along ... i am so glad he came over ... david was sure he would cancel so i know it made him happy ... and on the 21st we are going to the daily show with him ...
i think my landlord is going to screw me out of my deposit ... just cause landlords can ... i don't know that i have ever gotten my deposit back and i have been renting places since 1989 ... once i left a house messy ... there was lots of stuff left over and furniture ... but otherwise i have cleaned every house ... to where it is ready to move in ... i am a great tenant ... i pay my rent on time and i never bounce a rent check ... and i am going to loose $750 moving out of here ...

tonight david and i went to The Outback Steakhouse with Tracy and Jeff and Rob and Lisa ... i had such a great time even though we waited 80 minutes but the food is so good there it is worth waiting ... it was just so fun ... even though we don't see them all that often i am going to miss them ... i sure hope everyone comes to DC to visit us ... i know we will see Tracy and Jeff 'cause they go to DC every year ...

the other morning david and i stopped at Duncan Donuts for breakfast ... they have these meat, cheese and egg sandwiches that are cheap ... david ordered sausage, egg and cheese on a plain bagle and i ordered bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant ... well the meats were switched and i DON'T eat sausage ... but of course the cheese is melted all over the meat ... so i was just perterbed ... actually i was pissed ... i worked in the food industry forever and it isn't fucking hard to get an order right ...
this morning i got up kinda early so i went and got money ... cigs ... coffee ... and stopped at Duncan Donuts for breakfast [different one than we stopped at the other day] ... i ordered the exact same thing as the other day ... and guess what ... THEY FUCKING MESSED UP THE ORDER IN THE EXACT SAME WAY ...
i just don't think it is so hard to get that straight ... i worked at a bakery and it just wasn't that hard to listen to what the person said to you and then remember it for less than 5 minutes ... it just makes me so cranky

Mold
i can't wait to get out of this house ... we have been packing all day today and it is just so gross down here ... i took one of my metal signs off the wall in the entry way and there were mold spores behind it .... soooooooooooooooooo SICK ... oh my god it is just gross ... ick ick ick ... but we have made some real progress so far which is good ...

Fixed It
wow i guess i wasn't too tired to fix the quote generator ... in fact i was thinking i probably couldn't go to sleep till i got it working again and i was right ... it was a stupid mistake on my part that i didn't think of right away ... tried all sorts of silly stuff first ... but then i figured it out and now ... woohoo ... i have my quotes back and a whole bunch of new ones i added recently ... i uploaded that file and set it up ... yea yea yea ...
although that does mean i have to pack tomorrow instead of trouble shooting my site ... hummmm now i am wondering how smart i really was ...

well alrighty ... wooohoooo i got my background to work ... i moved the whole site to lizzieslife.com ... and i put together a new design ... and i am going to leave that one for now ... because my main concern is packing ... tomorrow we have 2 weeks to finish ... the movers are going to be here on the morning of the 23rd between 8 and 10 in the morning ... so we have to be finished friday night ... besides people are coming to see the apartment on saturday so tomorrow we need to at least clear a path through the house ... :)

So Bored
