learned something new today from my brother:


Crooks pay waiters to carry little things on their belts called sniffers, which look like a pager. The waiter, as he's walking back to the hostess with your card, can swipe it through this thing on his belt and it captures the number. At the end of the night, the crook will pay him $10 or $20 for each card he sniffed.
