tonight David and I went to get coffee ... on the way we were talking about different flooring for the kitchen in the condo ... right now it has all white linoleum ... it is alright but sometime in the future something better ... we both love black and white check floors in the kitchen ... and with the white cabinets and black counter I suggested it would look cool in there to put down black and white linoleum ... although it might look weird with the marble entry way and the dining room on the other side if we make that the natural wood floor instead of carpet ... then David suggested we put black and white marble in the kitchen with the smaller squares between the bigger ones [at the points] ... which both of us love ... and he was talking about the process and that he could do it himself ... I was thinking about it and I said "that is a lot of work for a condo ... I could understand doing it in a house" ... and he said ... "yea but aren't we going to live there for like 10 years?" ... that statement right there made me feel so great ... that he pictured being there ... with me ... for 10 years ...


I told him it would be more like 3 to 5 years ...
