Big Girl Bed

So today daddy set up the big girl bed for curly top ... and he waited until I got home for her to see it which made me want to cry ... I was just so happy ... and he washed her new "melmo" sheets and comforter so it was all ready to go ...

well she just loved it ... ran right in to her bed and just looked tickled ... then she helped me put together her nightstand and put all her "B's" (binkies) in the drawer ... she seemed so excited for bedtime ...

that wasn't the case though after bedtime rolled around ... she lasted about 13 minutes before the screaming started and wanting to get out ... not wanting to be in her room ... and neither of us could take it again tonight ... we are exhausted ... we need sleep ... and she needed something to keep her occupied till she passed out ...

Hello Kermit the Frog and all your muppet friends ... and thank goodness for portable DVD players ... I told her she was only allowed to watch the movie if she didn't get out of bed ... and even dropping her water didn't get her off the bed ... (i watched on the camera) ... and now she is happily passed out laying sideways on her big girl bed ... and I'm going to catch some Z's of my own before she figures out she fell asleep ...

Mark McGrath

So I got this e-mail tonight ...

Hi,

I work in the photo department at YM Magazine, and I'm writing to alumni from Corona Del Mar High to see if someone might be able to help me out with a project I'm working on.

We're looking for photos (color snapshots, etc.) of Mark McGrath (singer from the band Sugar Ray) from when he was in high school. I think he graduated in 1986. The photos are for a story we're doing about what he was like in high school. We've already got an interview done, but we want to run photos from his friends in high school.

I already have the photos which ran in the yearbook. What I need is more candid stuff from his friends and classmates - hanging out, playing music, being a teenager, etc... Do any of you have photos of him during high school (1982 - 1986), or know someone who does? Feel free to forward this e-mail. I'd appreciate it.

All photos would be returned within 4-6 weeks. YM would pay the FedEx shipping fee, and we'd be willing to offer a fee if we run the photo.

Thank you very much for your help.

... now is it right to write everyone listed on Classmates that went to school with Mark McGrath and ask for personal pictures of him ... I mean if they really interviewed him about who he was in high school wouldn't he be able to give them pictures ... I mean I was a photographer in high school ... and I have photos in my collection of many people that have attained some sort of fame ... and I wouldn't ever turn them over to some magazine ... I just think it is totally wrong to ask people to do that ...

and i am relooking at the email and it says "I think he graduated in 1986." but then goes on to say "We've already got an interview done" ... if she interviewed him on what he was like in high school ... how can she not know what year he graduated ... it really is just wrong ...
