Fletch Lives is on this morning ... I am so glad ... something has happened and my back has been killing me ... I didn't lift anything heavy and it hurts only on one side in the lower area ... I went to sleep at 2:30 and was up at 5:30 this morning crying I was in so much pain ... it is better now that I am not laying down ... but I think I might try to lie on the couch for a bit and enjoy Fletch ... Kris and Sean and I must have watched this movie 500 times ... it is just so great!!!!!!

it has been a couple of days since I last wrote ... I think it is because I have been spending very little time at the computer ... every morning this week David and I have gotten up ... gotten our stuff together ... gone to Home Depot and then to the condo to work ... so far we have stripped all the wallpaper in the dining room and kitchen, cleaned and sanded the walls ... spackled all the holes and the areas under the paper where they never painted ... tomorrow we will do some light sanding and prime the walls ...


once we moved the cabinets out of the kitchen we found out that is was just drywall under the wallpaper and that they hadn't put on a coat of paint ... we also found out that they put the flooring down around the cabinets so there was a big hole that had some really old flooring down and cement ... so today we bought new vinyl flooring which is just great ... it looks like white tile squares with grey grout and smaller black squares in the corners of the bigger white squares ... it is great and it matches the kitchen wonderfully ... since the cabinets are white

slowly people whose addresses I lost in my last computer crash are starting to write me ... tonight I got a letter from my friend Devin ... I haven't heard from him in ages ... and it was just a quick note that said he would write more later ... but I am so happy he wrote ... just this last weekend when I was cleaning out my file cabinet I found an age old address from him ... and was just wondering what he was up to ... so now I am looking forward to that longer letter later ... [some alliteration huh?]

This is a looser!!!

I was playing Reversi like I do often when I am bored and we were at the end of this game ... there is one space left on the board ... all the guy has to do is place his black disk there and the game is over and it will say "white wins" ... [i am white] ... and he doesn't ... cause that would mean he lost ... it sat there for almost 10 minutes ... I started doing other stuff just waiting ... instead he leaves the game ... that is still loosing ...


until I started playing this game with other people I didn't realize how many poor sports are out there ... half the time if I start to win the other person leaves the game ... it is so stupid ... cause I have been way far behind and the person I am playing is cocky ... and with smart planning I wind up winning.

David and I started working on the condo today ... we got all the border paper off in the dining room and all the paper off in the kitchen ... the glue is still on the walls in the kitchen so we need to get some more DIF gel and get to work on that ... but we did a sample patch and it all came right off ... the kitchen looks so much bigger without the wallpaper ... I am so excited to paint it ... but of course we need to sand ... spackle ... prime before sanding ... so it will be some time ... :)
